On November 29, 2024, international students participated in a hands-on Tie-Dye workshop as part of the Chinese Traditional Culture Experience series. The activity introduced the history, cultural significance, and basic techniques of this traditional craft, including the principles of natural dye extraction. Students engaged in every step—folding, binding, and dyeing—immersing themselves in a process full of exploration and creative joy. The workshop not only allowed them to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese tie-dye art but also deepened their understanding of China’s intangible cultural heritage.
